Mac and Cheesezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Okay, here is the actual story for this one. Shane was really really REALLY tired.....RL had stipped him down to take his bath.....but he insisted he was "starving". You know how kids can be, right? So she set him up in his high chair, in his au natural.....and he fell asleep in the middle of the mac and cheese. I had the paper and cut out the mac and cheese stuff from an actual box. It makes for a cute layout and story. Huh?

49 years - same person!

This one didn't scan all that well, but I like it alot anyway. Its my mom and dad on their 49th birthday. Mom did the writing on some of those polaroids....dad would scan them.....then email them to Bobbie (my sister) and I. I simply printed the pictures on paper so I would have something to scrap with. The background paper is a real bright orange to pick up color in mom's shirt. Soon I will add a couple of pages from their 50th that they had this year.

Bubba "boys

I page I did for Bubba's birthday album. He was actually swinging Shane and Kevin around and around....then sitting them down. We all know what happens to kids when you do that! The act all silly and fall down. The boys loved it. They enjoy their daddy playing with them. Bubba is such a big man, yet he can be so gentle with the kids.

Sent swap off to Jenn

It was harder than I expected. We had to get 8 different embellishments for the groups we choose. I went for "Primary Color", "Pastels", "Boy" and "Girl". I sure hope they like my choices.....even with finding fun things on sale, it cost alot to do this one. I didn't count on that.

The other swap I sent her was using my scraps only. That was fun. I did a birthday theme with my brass embossing plate that looks like a cake. Basic and simple. Should be easy for others to adapt to their needs.

I am also do a one partner a month swap. Last month was Mara and she sent me cute things to use for the puppy book. I sent her picnic embellishment. We were suppose to do a summer theme for vacations. Neither of us had planned a vacation....so we cheated and made something a little different for each other.hehehehehe Sneaky scrappers......

I have Celia this month. She gave me several trips they either did are about to do. Hers should be easy to play around with. I gave her a couple of hints and she chose the Zoo. That will be a good one. I have plenty of zoo pictures of the kids in Waco. And we have a zoo here that we should be able to check out this month. I am intrigued to see what her ideas will be.
